Fresh on Facebook - Listen to music with your friends

New Delhi: Facebook has announced a new way to listen to music with friends. The new feature allows users to listen along with any of their friends who are at that time listening to music using a Facebook app such as Spotify, Rdio or Mog.

A group of Facebook friends can also listen together in a group while one of them can play the DJ.

To listen to what a user's friend is listening to, he/she has to hover the cursor over the friend's name in the chat sidebar and the music will play with the service the user's friend is using.

Users also have the option to chat about what they are listening to and multiple listeners can join in a group chat.

Alexandre Roche, product designer at Facebook, in a post on the official Facebook blog said that the new feature will start rolling out to all Facebook users over the next few weeks.
