TV series '24' to become a movie

New York: Kiefer Sutherland, who is returning to the small screen with new drama 'Touch', says he is working on the big screen adaptation of his popular show '24'.

The show, which is being brought to India by Anil Kapoor, who had played a role in the last season, will begin shooting in March or April, Deadline reported.

The movie will see Sutherland returning as Jack Bauer, a role he played on TV for eight years in 200 episodes.

"Hopefully we will be shooting end of April, beginning of May," Sutherland said during the launch of his new drama, which he feels is a nice diversion.

"Does it happen to be a nice diversion from 24? Yes. I just couldn't turn this down because it spoke to me on a really profound level."
