Mumbai: Aamir Khan has been really tied up in the last few weeks. He has been going all around the country shooting for his television show. So wife Kiran Rao took off alone to Bangalore for a few days to attend a wedding!

Amrita Puri catches a thief red-handed!

During the shooting of Blood Money in Cape Town, actress Amrita Puri caught a hotel housekeeper red-handed, stealing from her purse. Obviously the actress and the rest of the crew were shocked and moved out of the hotel immediately. This took an entire day, causing losses to the crew.

'We have not issued any cheque to Juhi Chawla'

Producer Rajiv Gupta of Narmada Films has stated that they do not owe the actress any money. Juhi had shot for his public service campaign, Beti Bachao Abhiyaan (Save The Girl Child), initiated by government of Madhya Pradesh.

He says, "We have not issued any cheque so the question of its bouncing doesn't arise." The actress had asked for a nominal fee with the payee name to be left blank. Juhi wanted to directly hand it over to an NGO she supports.

However, the cheque, which she later handed over to the Asian Cancer Foundation bounced.
We managed to get a copy of the cheque (No 005051, drawn on ICICI Bank, Four Bungalows, Andheri West branch) and found that the account is held by Dhansukh Jaini who was the line producer for the campaign in Mumbai, and not by Gupta's production house as reported.
